FOOD SAFETY TRAINING
The biggest investment by the Arizona LGMA Food Safety Program is in education and training. We invest in food safety training materials that can be used in virtually every situation and help build capacity for training by bringing in additional resources.
The Arizona LGMA is pleased to share the following food safety training opportunities for LGMA members, their growers, and harvest crews.
FOOD SAFETY TRAINING KIT
Our Food Safety Training Kit (FSTK) was borne out of a need to educate workers at the field level, and encourage the industry to adopt uniform food safety handling practices. Since its inception, it has evolved into a completely engaging program that can be delivered in the field, in a classroom or via video. All materials are produced in both English and Spanish.
Want to use our Food Safety Training Program in your organization?
You don't have to be a member of our group, or even a leafy greens grower or shipper. Our versatile training program, created in both English and Spanish, can be applied to any commodity.
Metrics 101 is a free training program designed to help owners, managers, supervisors, and other industry employees to understand and learn about the basic food safety rules that need to be followed at all times while working with leafy greens.
