Arizona farmers produce 25% of the nation’s lettuce and leafy greens and work to keep them safe by participating in LGMA food safety program.

The Arizona LGMA is a food safety program for lettuce and leafy greens.  Arizona LGMA members are shippers of Arizona grown leafy greens who utilize strict food safety standards to ensure the integrity of leafy greens grown, harvested and shipped. The program is administered by the Arizona Department of Agriculture.
